I was there, it just seemed like a precaution to me and looked as if he had a cut as the physio was wiping his knee!!! Theres no mention in the match report so it can't be too serious

I wouldn't start Thorne, not yet anyway, I'd give him half an hour coming off the bench!

good, good, how many were there out of interest?
FWIW and I agree with the lineups that restore Rhodes to the line up and play Harban at right back. Don't think I'd start with Thorne though
It's a great time to play Barnet - injuries and suspensions galore

Only around 100/200 at most but a very promising performance with no one going through the motions. Phelan looked excellent in MF and Taylforth and Colbeck were dangerous on the wings

so not many want to throw medley into the fray for a full game it seems. maybe better not to eh? this will be the first competative game i've seen this season, but on the whole the teams are pretty similar - partly down to our massive shoice in squad size i think! just hope they play with pride a bit of flair and get stuck in. that'll do for me.

GK: Ricketts
LB: Hecky
CB: Wethers
CB: Bower
RB: I'll go with whatever Macca thinks is best between Harban/Ainge
LM: Nix
CM: EJ
CM: Evans
RM: Daley
FW: Dave
FW: Thorne
Subs: Conlon, Medley, Colbeck, Phelan, Ainge/Clarke/Harban (as above)
I'd take a gamble on Thorne from the start, that way you have Medley to tear things up against a tired defence later one. Conlon as an option for sub.
As for the right back slot, if Macca thinks Harban is right then you can't argue with that, if not then give Ainge another shot at it.
As for Rhodes, he can't be 100% so would not include him. Have Colbeck on the bench to cover the wings anyway!!

Ainge RB, Medley upfront. Bringing back Rhodes and Thorne to the bench. I would rather see team members than loan signings in the team (Except Hecky of course);)
Nix does not warrant dropping after the wrexham game, played well for me.

Thorne isn't included in the squad tomorrow so it looks like Conlon and Guylain up front

Well done Macca! No point risking such a valuable player when he'll clearly not be 100%, and nowhere near match fit! tup:

Would you leave Nix in or put Rhodes back in? I haven't seen Rhodes yet so i can't really comment on him

I've seen them both but haven't seen enough of them to form a proper opinion yet! I thought Nix had a good first half against Wrexham but was almost non-existant in the 2nd! Rhodes looked really good against Maccs and ok when he came on against Wolves!
I'd be happy with either of them to be honest! If Rhodes is 100% fit then I'd probably start him, he's more of a winger than Nix, if not then Nix is the best bet!

I cant see the point in leaving Thorny out and then playing him in a cheap cup -- if he is (if he is) injury prone -- we should keep him fit for league games

Agree with that, i'd try and get him another reserve game or private practice game and then put him in for the Lincoln game
