I was told we'd lined up two signings but all seems to have gone quiet now! Judging by the article on the website about Macca being 'spoilt for choice' maybe there won't be any new Bradford City players come midnight tonight!

Doyle on loan for season too would have been nice...

We have a nice blend of youth and experience now which is what the clubs who do well always seem to have...

Im sure 1 at least will come in but as Macca says only if they are right for the team ...No panic signings wanted...

Rob Douglas is sat on his hands at Leicester... Being on transfer list since Allen arrived...

Leicester have four good keepers...Hendo still gets a game but two more are above him and Douglas now when fit...

You honestly think that if the Ricket gets injured or banned Saynor will get a chance??

No way it will be 'emergency loan' time - and truly into the unknown.

Besides, Ricketts needs competition - he needs to know that he cant drop a clanger every game and get away with it, as long as only Saynor is at the club he knows he wont be dropped!!

I'm surprised he didn't sign a back-up pre season but seeing as he doesn't even put a sub keeper on the bench who with any experience is going to sign.
He's said he is happy with Ricketts so someone like Douglas won't come just to act as warm up partner for Ricketts

Personally, I think midfield is more important than a new keeper. I'll probably regret saying that if Ricketts gets injured, but hey!

Do we have cover at LB in case Hecky gets injured or recalled? Not sure O'Brien is up to the job and i don't fancy either Clarke or Bower there for any length of time

Under Todd Bower was consistantly our best LB when put there!!

Thats not a great endorsement though!!! Todd would make Ronaldo look average

personally i don't subscribe to the 'we need more midfielders' philosophy of many.

imo that's one place we've got strength in depth across the pitch.
