Crooks was signed during the uncertain summer by Todd from Barnsley on a free transfer. Unfortunatly the vast majority of the city crowd have not taken to him and he seems to get a hard time. In my opinion Crooksy is a crucial player to our promotion campaign and offers some extra steel to the side especially away from home. During the 2004/2005 season Lee had problems with both injury and suspensions but he did form a good solid partnership with Schumacher during a short spell towards the end of the season.
Crooks will be hoping to break into the first team a little more this season although competition is a little harder this time round with MBW, Schuey, Kearney and crooks all fighting for places.
