Only note at pontefract is that champion jockey jamie Spencer has 2 rides there, interesting as he chasing the title and only picked 2 rides out of 6

If I were putting money on today I'd look at two races. Welcome Approach is about 14/1 atm and always seems to grab a place so is a decent EW bet even though there are some strong horses in this class 5, also Back In The Red (12/1) looks like a tempting EW. In the 3.50 it looks to me that there's only one horse capable of winning it and that's Gulf Express. The odds will most likely reflect this (probably about Evens) but with only 7 horses in this race and it's only serious competition being the only other 3yo Many Volumes (which is carrying more weight), it should win it!

3.50 - Gulf Express WIN

I never noticed the jockey, it's the horse's form I go on, the guy on top just shuffles and flashes the whip. Spencer will have a steering job on this one! ;) Honest! :D
