If the official site is anything to go by (saying atherton is playing) we should win 10-0, but being serious i think it will be 2-0 Windass and Cooke.

I think it would be a huge shame if Cookie found himself pushed out of the first team. I rate Windass, Cadamarteri and Cooke all very highly but still think that Cooke could be the key to a good season for us. I just hope that we don't sign some average striker to replace him as his link up play will prove to be crucial to a successful campaign. The problem is that a lot of City fans cant see past the amount of goals a player scores, this is not always that relevant if a player makes a positive contribution elsewhere on the park which is precisely what Cooke does.

Anyway Cooke scored 4 in 20, in what was for the most part a struggling team, imagine what he can do with a full preseason under his belt with the likes of MBW, Petta and Morrison around him. Dont write him off yet.
