Welcome back you big gobshite..
I have over the last couple of seasons grown to like this fella..
Not happy with his "break his legs" outbursts on the touchline but he says what he means 99% of the times and he does get players up for games...
Probably about to take on the hardest managers job outside the Prem...Jordon goes through more managers than a hooker does punters on a Saturday night...

Did anyone see that Fan's Banta on Channel 4 the other night with Simon Jordan? Admitting he's sick to death of football and cannot stand the FA.

It will be interesting and make good copy in coming months with these two strong characters there. Warnock won't be anyones patsy and Jordan will need to tone down his outbursts, he seems to like upsetting people

I wonder who Warcock will be wanting as his number 2?

Neil Warnock has today been named as the new manager of Crystal Palace.
The former Sheffield United boss has stepped back into management 148 days after quitting Bramall Lane following their relegation from the Premier League last season.
Palace chairman Simon Jordan turned to Warnock after sacking Peter Taylor on Monday with the Eagles languishing in a lowly 19th place in the Coca-Cola Championship.

Warnock has been left with a bit of egg on his face here.
He could have stayed at Sheffield if he wanted to manage a Championship club with a chance at being promoted and had no disruption, but he came out with the big I am saying he wanted a Premiership club. He obviously isn't as attractive as a manager as he thinks and he's had to lower his sights somewhat.
Not that he isn't capable, and I'm sure he'll do a decent job if he is given time to do so and doesn't clash too strongly with Jordan.

I thought it was the Blunts who wanted a new manager?

I could be wrong, but as I recall he left himself saying he wanted to manage in the Premiership.

Sheff Utd never offered/left it really late offering him a deal!
Given time & the choice i'm sure he'd have stayed there!!

Thought It was one of them mutual agreement things?
Whatever, I bet the Blunts wish they kept Warnock now instead of employing Captain Morgan....erm i mean marvel

He kind of hints at it in this article, but I'm sure I remember him outright saying he wanted a Premiership job. It was definitely a case of him resigning rather than being pushed though:

His contract was up so nothing to do with resigning more to do with not re-signing.:D
