Macca hints at new arrivals, presumably on loan. Is this the answer or just the problem?

We need a whole new spine of the team. Macca tells us he wants men, does this mean that Wonder woman Wetherall will finally be moved aside?

What other choice do we have?

We can either stick with the same side until January and then IF there is money available, we can try sign players - by then we could be rock bottom though (we're not far off now), or we can get some loanee's in!

I thought you were only allowed 6 loans at one time and 8 in the whole season, doesn't leave us many options really, when already have 6, you' imagine we'd get rid of Harban and Joynes...

The amount of loans we've had to make do with over the past three seasons is a big part of the reason we are in the **** we are. It's not a solution it's a part of the problem. Sad thing is, Stu knows this and has said before the goalposts were moved, he wasn't going to go down that route and now he has been backed into a position where he has to cross his fingers and hope that he will strike lucky by doing so!!

Another question for next Sunday - "Was there money available before the last transfer deadline?" to go with "How much was donated by season ticket holders to transfer funds, and why has the club never previously stated this amount?"

Derm mentioned some trialists coming to VP -- one a Polish goalie -- I assume some of these have no clubs so we could sign them up

Supporters Trust AGM, supposedly with at least Lawn in attendance.

The way derm was talking, that lad from benfica is supposed to be signing.

The polish keeper is from a decent level, and i'd love for people to knock poland as i'm sure some on here will but they are top of there european group.

Also, expect a 30 + ex premiership midfielder to sign if terms are agreed ... I got that in an email tonight. Stumbling block is, midfielder still seems to think he can demand premiership wages.

The way some of our own players are performing at the minute i'd settle for 11 loanees!! Can't do any worse

What clubs the Polish guy from then, what sort of level has he played at?

I agree that a figure with disabilities is required within the club (to keep up with the PC brigade) however obesity is not the way forward where kids are concerned!!tdwn:

Are we likely to have any new faces in the team for this week? ie Topp, Portugeezer etc?
