Is it just me or is Valley Parade a strikers graveyard?

Last year we got rid of Cooke and Symes who went on to score bucket loads for the Shrews. Last year Hibbert couldn't hit a barn door and paynteronly got a couple but this year they are scoring for fun.

Many years ago we signed Tony Adcock who scored over a 100 goals for Colchester but couldn't do the same here. as soon as he left he started scoring prolifically again.

I can only think of Campbell, McCarthy and Windass who have been regular scorers in recent years apart from Lee mills for a season.

Maybe It as more to do with the service they get while at our club?

We seem to a magnet for attracting the "loose cannon/Forest Gump" type of wingers to VP who couldn't cross a bridge ffs tdwn:

Omar Daley been the latest!!!

It comes down to service and supply -- a goal maker/s what we have been lacking for years -- all the team have a job to do and to give the ball to a goalscorer in a goalscoring position is a basic part of the winning game

Jimmy Greaves one of the top goal scorers ever hardly ever got out of the 6yard box!
