That Man City team wasn't that different to the one that slaughtered Man Utd 5-1 the following season! :eek:

My memories of that game were that they should have hit 6 past us and scrapping with Man City fans at the back of the Kop before the OB steamed in ;)

How the hell did Tommo not get sent off?? I can't remember Jimmy Quinn hitting such a poor shot - everything he hit (according to my memory) was either on target or a couple of inches away!

I remember the game well, there must have been at least 1000 blue moons in the kop that day, tossers.

Our defending in that game is as bad as it is now! Good job their shooting was as bad as ours is now! Ouch. :(

Ian Bishop it was apparantly. The rumour was made stronger by the fact he refused to press charges as she would spill the beans.

Good video that! tup: The state of the pitch though...the ball was bobbling about everywhere!
It looked really odd seeing the big fences in front of the fans with spikes on the top to keep us penned in. That must have been filmed just a few days after the Hillsbourgh disaster. Looking back it seems crazy keeping people penned in like that. :(
