Neither. Sorry, but thems the facts. I've had so much interest squeezed out of me by the corrupt regime at Valley Parade, I'd barely miss it. I didn't go to the Darlo game because there were games on the telly I'd rather watch at home. That's what the Rhodes family has done!

Like Chuckle - I have found many more interests outside Valley Parade
I still go - but dont even get teletext results if something else comes up.
It's more about quality time with Ernest Senior now - than the VP experience and game.

Rough with the smooth Lee. Besides, Everton got what they deserved from the game, so they weren't really all that badly done to in the end.

I would attempt the fiorst but with clear conditions and no money would go to the Club until such time as there was a plan to have fan involvement with full voting rights at Board level. If only to safeguard against foolish spending or poor business decisions.
As for the second only if there was no viable way forward for the Club in its current format.
The saddest thing is so far I have read that 2 people who were among the most passionate of fans at one time have had almost all of that desire and passion knocked out of them because of the continuous struggle and lack of direction over the last few years. I have been and am close to the same situation and certainly was at the end of the 2004 season - watched games at VP and only saw great big pound signs running around the pitch (not a drop touched that day as well before you start!). The business side of City has dulled an awful lot of the raw passion and pride I had in the Club before I found out what administration meant other than pushing paper and sealing envelopes.

why should you expect full voting rights on a board of a private company, when your financial input is minimal - it does not work that way in the real world - unless we want to become a Lincoln City.

So if we had a repeat of 2004 you would happily just chuck your brass at the current directors and hope they deal with it? No guarantees, no nothing. Sounds sensible to me. If we had the same situation again then you would have a new company formed with a new Board. The fans effectively could be called a collective investor and the Trust or whatever organisation does it would be the vehicle. It works for me. Private company or not they can still bring fans on board.
And as for Lincoln, what's the inferral? That they are in a worse position than us? Yes in the league maybe but perhaps not in the financial and/or business stakes.
I would not put my money into a black-hole, hence why last time some efforts were made to ensure it wasn't a black-hole and that the money was safeguarded as a cost of the admin if worst case scenario happened. I don't agree with chucking brass in without anything different being done to try stop it happening again. Otherwise the rest of my life supporting City will simply be about lurching from one admin to another.

Yes to A and Yes to B, thats why i sing City Til I Die, no matter what division we are in i would love this club. If bradford went under and started agen in a regional league, it would be, 1. pick a new club 2. support no one or 3. carry on supporting bradford. id pick 3 all day long, 1 and 2 wouldnt seem right.
what would piss me off would be if we were to go under and start in a counties league and 90% of fans abandoned the club and 10 years down the line we end up back in league two, and them 90% come back claiming that they never left!
I support Bradford City, not the chairman, and ill support City 4eva

I've been on Charltons website to research their supporter elected to the board of the football club (not the PLC I think) - surprising to read that only 15% of their season ticket holders used their vote for different candidates, the current guy thereby elected not by a proper majority of the fans, merely those who could be arsed to fill some paper in.
Shocking stuff really for a community based club - certainly they are that, but in other ways it shows the thinking of the average supporter - he/she just wants to see their club do well and has MAYBE limited interest in supporter involvement at Board Level.
