Twinned with a Belgian non league club, looks like the board are setting us up for the right level again. What next a ground share with Silsden FC??

Reading their very good website, although not a top club the appear to be purely a feeder club for players trying to find clubs. Looks very interesting and worth looking at. theres nothing to lose by using them.

In fairness, after browsing around the site, it looks a nice little set up. By the sounds of it, its based around youth development - which is exactly what we need. In the North, anyone young who is remotely decent ends up at either Old Trafford, Anfield, or God forbid, Elland Road. At least this way they won't have heard of Bradford and will sign on the dotted line before they realise its too late! :)
Who's this keeper who is apparantly with us?
And don't forget....Willy played there also...he might have some mates :)

BTW, looks very promising if you ask me, theres nothing to lose at all by doing this, we've already taken a Canadian Keeper from there on trial, and have signed a 16 year old Portugal Academy Player from Sporting Lisbon.
The guy who did this hole deal between the 2 clubs has scouting all over the world.

If we get anything over a 25% success rate it could prove worth it - who knows we may be able to sell on for a decent fee and share the profits.

Here is how it works in Belgium:
--- 1st Division ---
--- 2nd Division ---
--- 3rd Division A --- 3rd Division B ---
--- 4th Division A --- 4th Division B --- 4th Division C --- 4th Division D ---
The club is in 4D and in their history spent one season in the top flight.
Can anyone see the directions to the ground on their website? I'm tempted to go and check them out and report back my findings.

does it matter what league an 'academy' play in?
I would guess the turnover of players is fairly rapid so would be hard to put together a solid team.

It seems a good idea to me, let's give it a try and see how it works, nothing ventured, nothing gained, and all that.
Colbeck obviously didn't fancy Belgium(see previous T & A link), having agreed to go to Darlington instead.
