The impetus came when fans suffered when the hoardes from Farsley Celtic would arrive from dirty Leeds and eat all the pies. Fans became upset by this regular invasion and after gaining no protection from the "Nutty Boys" (who contented themselves with rowing with uninvited local chavs) decided to form their own firm when it was discovered that Farsley were intending to "take" the table nearest the door in the clubhouse.
