How long did he sign for .....

Dont we have a proper system for medicals????

Almost two years out with Norwich through injury and we still sign him - another injury to keep him off the pitch - he will then take four games to get match fit and then get another injusy to see him through the damp and wet winter months.

Have we re signed Hopkins or Peter Atherton?

I wonder if Steve Redmand just wants company in the sick bay.

We might have signed another Wetherall - a constant sick note in the Premiership. Look at him now - a Legend!

JS I thought Hopkin had been out for nearly the whole of the season before the one in which we bought him - thats why I thought the amount we paid for him was excessive and should have been based on appearances with a smaller amount up front.

Yeah, your right! Was it at Palace where he was pretty consistent?

I believe so but had one good season for Leeds - obviously Hopkins agent gave GR a video of it and forgot to tell him he had not long recovered from a serious injury - it to pay what he did

Alright folks? Newby here.....

Anyway, re PT, it *is* a shame he's injured, as he looks like he was getting to be fully fit, but its similar to the whole Big Fat John McGinlay things isn't it? That was anoter over inflated transfer fee for a crock?

Welcome to C&B Nottm, please don't hark back to McGinlay!!!! Kammy reckons that signing cost him his job just about. To be fair, him and Nathan Blake looked class at Bolton. maybe we signed him a year too late.

Wasn't it GR being a nob that cost Kammy his job?

And welcome NottmBantam, are you the same guy from the 606 forums?

I do post on the 606 Forums , correct. Crikey - fame at last! Thanks for the welcomes, and I'm surprised at myself for not getting along to this forum much sooner.

Anyway, great to hear Kammy's name mentioned, I loved the couple of years he was our boss. Never a dull moment!

Am I not correct in thinking that in that first season in the prem he played every minute of every game??

How dare you question, "The Signing that will send shockwaves through the lower divisions" As well as him being, "Someone who's more prolific than Deano"

Show some respect!!

Correct. Tho' to be technical, it was every minute of every Premiership game, IIRC - he did miss a couple of early Cup games.

Alledgedly Peter Thorne uses the same Tanning studio as Ashley Ward on a Saturday afternoon.
