Lewis Emanuel is to sign on loan with a view to a permanent move after falling out of favour at Luton under Kevin Blackwell's 'regime'.
Trouble is, he's signing for Brentford.

Trouble?
I'd have Emanuel back in a breath to replace that pile of crap Heckingbottom, we need pace at the back, not Dad's Army part II

Lewis was never the most popular player at city, but I would have him back.
Dropping down another level, he should be good. Hang on............Havent we being saying that about a few city players for the last 6 years ?

he won't come beack to City in a rush - with all the verbal flack he had to take - only a young lad and some were ripping him to bits - Turd did his head in as well - sad loss to City, someone like Stu would have got the most out of him - Hecky's doing okay as far as I can see - where's me specs.

Had his debut for Brentford, a few of their fans like him...
''MOTM Lewis Emanuel for me. Steady and assured in defence, plus probably the most competent attacking from a Brentford left-back for sometime.''
''Emanuel was different class. Clearly the best player on the pitch.''
''Emmanuel classiest player on view, and set up the goal.''
''Emmanuel was outstanding - the best prospect I've seen at GP for some time.''
''Emanuel for me. Wanted the ball from the kick off and his crossing and distribution were first class.''
''Emanuel. The best debut by a Brentford player in years. Sign him up now!''
''New left back for me, his confidence just seemed to spread through the team.''
