Anyone hear the story about the Sheffield fans that travelled to Hull on Saturday on the radio this morning.
Apparently about 40 of them had gone on a coach that hadn't been reported to the police, who duly stopped them, as they were belived to be possible hoolies, and taken to an away friendly pub, where they had a few pints, whilst the police waited outside.
When the police went into see how things were going, they were astonished to find that they had disappeared, turns out that there was a beer garden at the back, with a 15' wall and razor type wire on the top, which didn't deter the intrepid fans, and,as the police weren't watching the back, simply climbed over it, and then legged it.
They were picked up a bit further on, and escorted to the ground.
The policeman interviewed on the radio was introduced as a football intelligence officer, the first thing the interviewer said to him was, a bit of contradiction in terms don't you think.:D:D
Pity the City fans didn't try the same thing at the Leaking Boot in Grimsby on Saturday.
