Just posted about this on an older thread before I found this one

I reckon this is great for Ebbsfleet - they'll have more money than anyone in the conference and most of leagues 1 & 2 to spend each year.

There are other schemes about too like www.thepeoplesclub.com (http://www.thepeoplesclub.com) which are tyring to do similar things. I reckon they'd jump at the chance to buy Bradford. Wouldn't take much to get us back into the championship and it'd be awesome if it was the fans running the team

It won't work with fans trying to pick teams - which manager would want to be part of that set?, the idea is good but having a part of Ebbslfeet would do nothing for me.

Fans should never have a say in the team selection, its ridiculous that a manager cant do his job (hold the colin todd, nicky law and bryan robson jokes please). Fans should be allowed to vote to sack the manager and also vote on new signings etc but nothing as hands on like picking the team....

liability laws if a limited company would kick in - It would cost several millions alone to buy City from it's 2 main shareholders - let alone leave any extra capital for team strengthening

The idea is a very good one if the right folk are left to run the team...

As other have said no fans or board member should have an input to what the manager does..

He alone should pick the team..What will happen will there be a site poll ffs to pick the team...

How will they know who is the best players if they do not turn up to watch training...What is the best tactics??? Isnt that why managers go on courses..


The way the money has come in to sort out this clubs future is very good and i wsh em all the best but it stinks of too many fingers in the pie to me and how their manager can say he is happy with it is beyond me..

Money men stick to finances, football managers stick to bringing in the best players and making them play how he wants to get results...

Look at us lot on here and there isnt that many....We cannot agree on anything as a whole so how the fook will those lot from all over the country...
