Tonights dogs live on Sky

Our old mate Directors Chair runs in the Stayers Final at the Stow tonight at 9.10 live on Skysports 3 and has a great chance. They’re all good dogs in that race but I reckon the value lies in Fear Robben out of trap four at around 6/1. I’ve got a couple of ante post bets on Nevada Blue at 12s in the hurdle and Perceptive Pacey at 25s in the London Scurry, either of those come in I’ll be well happy and Nevada Blue is my nap of the night, although he is only 6/4 now. All the hype will be about Barnfield on Air, now being called the “fastest dog ever” on account of him breaking four track records this year, and Spiridon Louis, with the ongoing debate as to which will be named greyhound of the year. My preference would be for Louis as he has won three category ones over different distances and he comes from behind whereas if BoA doesn’t trap he doesn’t win. Neither are worth backing as they will both be well odds on. Ronnies Hotstuff could be good value in the Maiden Derby as he has better draw than when turned over in the semi.
