Please sign If you want a Home International tournament played next summer for your pre-season footy fix tup:

Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and hopefully the Rep. Of Ireland would all give England and their new manager a great test in preperation for the World Cup qualifiers....please sign the petition, it only takes a minute tup:

Done.

I've always advocated bringing them back every other year (non World Cup and Euros) anyway.

I agree in them being brought back...

Why not have them in World Cup years...

What is stopping us if we have qualified for those tournaments from fielding a B squad to play in them or the U-21s???

It would ensure the tournament still happened and would give fringe players valuable experience Dave...

Plus it would be tops if we still beat their first teams :D:D

I think the other FAs will go for it and hopefully the English with a lot of making up to the fans will do the same

Thats also my opinion tup:

We usually need a footy fix every "other" year....unfortunately we need one next year also now tdwn:

I agree, although it wouldn't be long before the Prem managers moan that their players are tired from playing too much football.

Can you imagine next year's - Scotland on the up, NIreland on the up, Wales rebuilding, RoI with a point to prove and England still reeling. There'd be some reet games!

Why would they?

If any home nation had got to the Euro's then they would have had to release the players for a few weeks anyway.;)

Done - and i've always thought they should bring the home internationals back....unfortunately we won't be included, plans were already at an advanced stage to host a "celtic cup" between ROI, Wales and Scotland - didn't include us or NI - they'll use the fan violence excuse to exclude us!

It wouldnt be summer if England wasnt beaten by minnows of world football...bring on the Jocks & the sheepshaggers, im sure we can boost their world rankings by rolling over for them.
Sad thing is they would all beat us - national pride is something only a minority of the England setup have!

They were saying last night though that as Sky have no TV rights to the Euros, they might finance the Home International comp and they would insist on England being involved for the viewing figures
