I'm indifferent about Rafa's fued with his bosses to be honest and don't think he's done himself any favours with his constant rotation of the squad. He's entitled to crtiisism right now because he's earned it. I'm not like the bitter blues on here who used to jump to Jose's defence come what may like when he was whinging about not getting Roman's backing with transfer funds after selling Gallas to Arsenal despite having spent the arms budget of a small country on a bunch of bench warmers.

Rafa wants to watch his lip and concentrate on picking and sticking to a winning team. Overall he has the best squad of players in the whole premiership right now and a starting XI and bench on a par with the likes of Man Utd and Arsenal. He should let his team do the talking and earn the right to get more funds by doing the best with the ones he has got or risk sounding bitter and incapable like Jose did in his latter days at Stamford Bridge.

I could not give a **** really, but do like to see the Brit clubs progress for the good of the game here.

I am liking Rafa more and more lately, childish spat you may say but he is very clever. He knows that we know that he knows the press know what is going on and he is milking it for everything. I am focusing on coaching and training my team, I am concentrating on Porto, he's giving 2 fingers to the board and telling them and the world that he knows how to manage the team and what it needs and they should either put up or shut up. If it was Jose spouting what he's spouting you'd all be creaming your load and saying how special he is, except me and Chucks of course.

I like the guy and we'd do a lot worse than consider that his english is good enough for the england managers job. ;)

Don't get me wrong. I'd have Rafa as England manager in a shot, to be honest I'd let Jose have a go too. If O'Neill didn't want it. Rafa to England and O'Neill to Liverpool wouldn't be the end of the world either!!

I didn't get you wrong, I understand your criticism of Rafa, his rotation policy is a hair-tearing exercise, and he isn't winning enough at home. Still, we'll see how it looks after the Man U game in a few weeks. If he wins tonight, beats Marseille and then gets at least a point against Man U he'll be odds on for any job going.

Anyways am I fast becoming a closet scouser? ;)

If people are gonna be glory hunters then why not support a team that wins the Premier league regularly like Arsenal, Man Utd or Chelsea...rather than a team thats never won it?

Chelsea?? Regularly?? Don't talk wet!

I've always had a soft spot for Liverpool and they are on the brink of renewed greatness. There tradition, fair play and unparallelled contribution to the game surpasses some of the more tacky "achievements" of teams in the Premiership Era.

Now run along, I'm watching the Champion's League, haven't you and 3000 or so other mugs got a "big" cup tie against Tranmere on Saturday to be worrying about?

Dress It up how you want, they've never won the Premier league Title and im sure they'd swap a "tacky" recent Premier league trophy as you call it, for a few of the cups they have won.

Super Reds have just conceded an equaliser and the Hoops are losing, quick Dave, look in your golf back for another club to "support" tup:

Why am I talking wet?

Im on about the Premier league....Chelsea have won it twice in the last 3 years...ffs even Blackburn have won it more "regularly" (well once) than Liverpool!

Hey, How can you put Blackburn down? They broke the chain with Manchester United winning titles - Something Liverpool have yet todo despite spending more than 3 or 4 times or even more than Blackburn have ever spent whilst in the top flight.

The Blackburn team that won the premier league wasn't full of superstars - think they had 3 maybe 4 internationals in the team that won the title.

When was Liverpool last within 20 points of the Prem Winners come the end of the season..???

The fact you slag Chelseas still over their Prem wins and money spent, after Rafa has spent this countries defence budget on yet another squad that will be just filling fourth place at best this year makes this funny..

Yep they spent money and bought some good players who couldnt adapt to the Prem but have elsewhere in Europe but at least they have won the Prem twice and finished runner up last season...

In fact in the 15 years of the Prem only in three of them have they even got within 10 points of the title.. Whereas in 9 of the 15 they have been 15-37 points away...

Jose unlike Rafa spent millions brought in some talent that couldnt cut it yet still won titles and other cups...

Rafa this season along with Manure have spent massively but only United look a threat to Chelsea or Arsenal this season...

Liverpool will slide away again.. But once they do not beat Marseille and Bestikas beat Porto Liverpools season will rely on squeezing into the top four.. Best hope Man City collapse..:O)
