Seen as i didn't see Medleys goal against Wrexham as i was on holiday i am struggling to think of one for this season. As a result i will say Nicky Laws first goal (and Citys 3rd) away at Dagenham.

Premiership - Easy - Collymores overhead against the w*nkpots

Cup Goal - Waddle at Everton

Favourite goal of all time - Mark Stallards goal to put us 3-0 up at Blackpool in the play-off 2nd leg. A scruffy goal, but i have never gone so mental for a goal in all my life, i was on the open kop behind the goal and it was sheer mayhem on there when the ball went in- brilliant.

Thinking of the Waddle goal, Dreyer's and Steiner's were pretty special as well........a great day for City

I can never remember exact ones and I haven't seen enough this season to have a go at the first question.

However, favourite City goal of all time was des hamilton's at Wembley, not for the sheer magic and brilliance necessarily, more for the fact that just before the game reading the programme there was a Coca Cola advert that read something like:

"One day you will see a goal so perfect that you will want to marry it, have kids with it and move to a beutiful tropical island with it" or probably a bit more poetic than that. Any road Dessy's goal was that magical moment, so sublime and surreal, almost in slow motion, so unbelievable to be so true, it was intense.

This season..umm...only been to one game so it will have to be Wethers v Hereford :(
Best in prem: collymore vs leeds
Best cup: Mitchell from a quick Micky Kennedy freekick against Spurs.
Best ever: Danny Forrest overhead kick against walsall(?) was pretty impressive. Wes Ried going on a crazy mazy run against someone...can't remember, but he was in his own half when he got the ball...
Best away: Lewis v Cardiff away, and in the same game Andy Gray chesting and volleying from 25yds. Carl Shutt scoring to put us in the lead and making the Hullites go mental...

I remember the Wes Reid goal, and if memory serves me right it was the 3rd goal in a 3-0 win versus Shrewsbury. I certainly remember Torpey scored 1 if not both of the others.

It was the season after Shrewsbury had beaten us 4-2 when Gary Shaw scored a hat-trick in about 7 seconds.

Recently, it might seem a bit obscure but Daley's goal at Rotherham last season when it flew in the top corner and gave everyone brief hope was a bit good. I have never seen it go so mental in a City section since the Owen Mozza goal at Hudds in the 1-0 win or the 2-2 against Burnley a few years ago.

Only the last minute penalty against Grimsby has come close this season.

I like goals for how they make you feel though rather than how 'brilliant' they are.

Peter Thornes 3rd goal against Notts County - premiership class finish - sweet stuff

earlier seasons - John Hendries equaliser against the scummers at ER in 1986 ish - we lost 2-1 though :-(

cup goal - Bobby Campbells v Liverpool at VP - nearly wet me kegs when that went in lol

I was in the same part of the crowd, travelled there on a school night back when I was a nipper, never remember feeling so elated at a football match, not even when dessie pinged it in the top corner at wembley - That stand was a shithole - had bits of metal protruding through the concrete and the back of the stand was missing.

That was a great season! I also remember going away to hull with the massive pitch invasion but cant recall if that was the same year.

Yes it was. They had already been relegated and we needed a win to clinch a playoff spot. I was also at that game - quality game watched in the comfort of the home end hahahaha.

Yeah it was a strange old season was 95-96. Started off well under Lenny Lawrance, went sh*te, improved a bit under Kamara and then we went on a good run at the end, however, i remember leaving both Twerton Park (when Bristol Rovers played there) and the Bescott Stadium, Walsall, after defeats during the last few weeks of the season and thinking that we'd blown it. Fortunately other results kept going our way.

We had 2 cracking home wins towards the end of the season, 2-1 vs Chesterfield when Sticks scored the winner in the last few minutes and then a 2-1 vs Brentford when we missed 2 pens. The last home game before the Hull match was the Swindon game when Tommy Wright scored a screamer. I only missed 3 games in all competitions that season....those were the days.

Same here, I don't know how some people can remember so much about games from earlier this season let alone 10 years ago!

I remember that season very well! Probably my favourite season as a City fan. I was at most of the games and the last one at Wembley was one of the best days of my life!
Other memories of that season are Kiwomya breaking into the first team and scoring 2 at Burnley in a great 3-2 win in a fantastic atmosphere and Whoopi Lyburd scoring an absolute screamer away at Crewe in what was I think a 2-1 win??
I may have amalgamated 2 or 3 seasons there but that's how it plays in my head anyway! :D

No i think you are right. Kiwomyas winner at Turf Moor was about 5 minutes into injury time which made it even sweeter. They were redveloping Turf Moor at the time turning the Longside Terrace into seating so we only had about 700-800 tickets in the end behind the net. There was only a gap of 2 seats between the City and Burnley fans and plenty of missiles were crossing the gap. Neil Tolson scored the first and i'm sure we were 2-0 up before letting the Dingles back in at 2-2.

We also won 3-0 at York on boxing day in a game that should never have been played due to the frozen pitch which was another cracking day out.

I was also at the Burnley game and we led 2-0 at HT. Then the dingles pulled one back then we had Brightwell sent off for a delibrate handball then i seem to recall them going down to 10 men and us scoring a winner at the death :)

I only missed about 3 games home and away that season :) good days
I remember the Crewe game fondly with a lad i knew from Allerton who was part of the youth set up at Crewe getting us freebies :)

Daft as it sounds with him coming back to VP tommorow:

Muirheads at Tranmere away in the 5-4 a couple of years bak wasn't half bad - paticularly post premiership anyway.
