Wetheralls slow pace has dropped off alarmingly recently and today he looked a liability on the pitch, having to resort to his headers in desperation.
I know the lad from Fulham was signed as cover but if he does not get a chance now, then to me it's clear McCall is no better than Turd in having undroppables.

I agree Wetherall was poor today but so was Clarke ffs! :(
Both cost us goals but Wetherall still has a few more individual errors yet to catch up with Clarkes!
IMO our defence are going through a phase of being punished for individual mistakes....Im sure it will pass when we start winning again ;)

Wethers should be led to the bench and tied up like any good old horse - he's got another year before being put out to grass.

Not possible, surely his professional pride will persuade him to pack in before that.
As the club is slowly getting more financially stable he might possibly negotiate a pay-off rather than become an embarrasment

He can become part of the clubs management structure.
Im not sure he's qualified after last seasons abortion followed by releasing our better players!!
Part of the clubs kiosk staff would be more appropriate!!

imo it was the keepers fault, i sat just behind the goal and he did not call for it at all. Clarke had to do domething, and why loach didnt run back to save the slowest rolling ball in the world, i have no idea, i thought if he had run and dived he was in with a chance of saving it. POOR COMMUNICATION COST US THAT GOAL....not an individual error but a collective one.
