It's Danny forest I find puzzling, when you can pick from Carbone, Hendrie, Mills, Blake, Bobby Cambell, Windass why pick Forrest, Forrest can't get in the normal team nevermind the fans ultimate 11, I wouldn't even have him on the bench!

Thats the one i was questioning Thorney like i say i actually liked Richmond.

I bet they were hordes of City fans wanting Big Geoff out after Wembley,Wolves, Liverpool & 2 promotions!

The guy was great for City & helped us realise the dream of playing top flight football, which after 1988, i thought i wouldn't see in my life time!

OK so he fcuked up catastrophically by letting Jewell go & going mad that summer, but he did it with the best interest's of us the supporters at heart!

He gambled & It backfired with Relegation & the collapse of the ITV Digital deal.
If we had gone back up in our first season, we probably be still OK now, who knows?

Oops, maybe i should justify, this guy is the most commited player at city for the last 10 years except jakes, he tries his heart out everygame and always impresses, just becuase he doesnt score goals does not mean he is not good, and he is a worthy badge kisser! i stick by my decision!

Can't say I agree with this but it's your choice.
At the very most he should be on this team where he is on ours and thats on the bench.
If you seriously think he is worthy of a place over Bobby Cambell, Robbie Blake, John Hendrie, Lee Mills, Dean Windass, etc, I and many others would find it hard to see a sane theory behind this.
Danny Forrest is a bit part player at best and in the 3 to 4 years he's been on the scene he has never been part of the first team for any amount of time, My view of him is he is average at best and is still living off the overhead kick he scored against Walsall.

I also think Danny is very overrated and if he doesn't break through this season I reckon he'll be asking Jon Worsnop for a job in his hairdressers.

To be fair....

The only real chance Danny got last season was when he was paired up with Symes for a couple or three games when Windass was injured/suspended/jerking off.

Symes is hardly the player to bring on another striker right fair.

They failed. In fact they were crap!

I doubt Todd would do it unless Windass ran out of partners but the lad deserves a few starts with a seasoned pro to show what he can do.
If after that he looks no better then it would be Park Avenue time.

Sorry to wander off topic but the fact we are linked with Bridges, Cadders and Boulding seems to suggest that both Symes and Forrest aren't in Todds plans for next season, maybe I'm reading the situation wrong but most of the players we have been linked to play at the top end of the pitch.
