His son lives but 100 yards from our house - and he's in his 80's now - nice old guy with a huge amount of photos and books/ whatever about City in the early 1900@s onwards.
I saw a thread about Irvine but can't find it now - I know GB was taking the P out of me and Fatty Foulkes - I bet the bald bstrd is not there today at VP - he'll have some excuse as usual lol, I could have brought some sliced limes as well ahhhhhhhhh well!!!

Boocock made his debut for City in a 2-1 home defeat by Aston Villa on 5 March 1910 but didn't become a regular until 1912/13. Like many of his generation hi best years were wrecked by WW1 but he played until 1921/1922 last appearing against Manchester City on 25 February 1922 (another 2-1 home defeat) by which time he had played 169 league and 15 FA Cup games scoring 1 goal (against Liverpool) in the League on 13 April 1914
