How can Rhodes get a 6 the same as Nix, he hardly touched the ball, looked scared to get involved and the sooner he goes the better

Agreed, Nix worked pretty hard yesterday, and I think he even won a header at some point. I'd give Loach 7 for some of the saves - is it me or was that the first time this season that shots on target haven't gone in???

I must have watched a different game yesterday re Bower - while not at the top of his game - he did a lot of covering for Hecky and Wethers. Giving Williams 6 - I obviously do not know what instructions he receives from STU/Jakes - but he leaves oceans of space on the flank - gets sucked in and was not picking up the left sided midfielder - which had Colbeck picking up two players. The first goal where was he and the second he was marking Wethers and not the scorer! He was wondering around at corners and at one had his back to to the corner taker. This is a guy who has played for Sunderland in the prem - and was getting fundementals wrong 4.5 for me. Starosta left on the bench - why!

Stu who ever he gets in need to add some pace to the defence.

Loach had a better than normal game but what the hell was he thinking when 13000 City fans were screaming 'man on' at him?

Thankfully Wilbraham is still just as shite as he was when he was here.

my ratings - leave your own if you disagree - Rhodes did ok when he eventually was afforded a pass - one of his plus points is he is one of the few City players who are not afraid of getting in the oppo penalty area to cause mayhem - Nix had a stready game, nowt spectacular and Bower would have got a 6 but for that howler of a miss from 4 yards out was it?

Loach practically pushed the first Dongs goal into the net, and that cock-up in the second half was pathetic.

Ricketts would have been crucified for making anything resembling either of those mistakes.

Being named POTY obviously went to Colbeck's head, he was strutting around the pitch thinking he was some sort of god, and the foul for the red card was pathetic and pre-meditated as a bit of revenge for an earlier tackle he took exception to, he's still got a hell of a lot to learn.

That is a good point re Rhodes - gets up with a bit of spring too -for headers - considering his size and can get good crosses in at times. He has the makings of a good player - but his problem he disappears to often in games. CM did not too badly and Johnson was not quite as bad as the points - you gave him - but the CM is still too lightweight to make an impression - consistently. It could be due to having to play deep to cover our defences frailities - against pace.

Loach 5 Pushed the first goal in the net and a few numerous feck ups.

Williams 6 He was okay

Wetherall 7 Not a bad last game

Bower 5 Awwful

Heckingbottom 6 Did oright.

Colbeck 3 Was having a mare before the sending off.

EJ 5 Bye byeeeeee

Nix 7 Did well, better get a new contract!

Daley 8 Took on players, passing was good, some decent skill when needed, escaped from like 5 players who were trying to tackle him. Doesn't like scoring crap goals hey.

Conlon 5 Awful miss and I didn't even notice him

Thorne 6 didn't seem to care but some good football

Agree with most them ratings apart from Nix who I thought had one of his best games as a central midfielder.

Also Williams was very poor and at fault for the 2nd goal!

Omar was MOTM though for me, and everyone knows im not his biggest fan

BL your opinions - I know - but why was Bower WOTM - when Hecks and Williams were muck poorer - Far post cross Willilams went AWOL the wide midfielder had space to attack - where Willims should have been covering - no Hecky at the far post - second goal Williams marks Wethers ball goes over his head and gives the wide left man oceans of space to hit his shot.

Batmamlad was obviously too busy creaming his jeans over Daley to notice the 90 minutes of effort and some skill that Conlon turned in !!!!!!!!!!!!

Barry puts in a whole lot of effort and has some great touches, its just that none of them are anywhere near goal. His best moments on Sat were either clearing from our penalty area or holding it up and distributing it from deep. I'd give him another contract though.
