Mabe its a bit early for worry BUT. If the rumours are true about gladys returning wouldnt that leave us with 3 left backs? hecky, o'brien & emmanuel.
unless SM was doing the unthinkable and playing bleeding heckingbottom at centre half with bower/clarke

Lewis is well capable of filling the left midfield role in L2. He played there for Luton at a higher level before his fall out.

Don't forget also under Todd we had Lewis playing at striker, defensive midfielder and right back so maybe Todd has been on the blower to Macca to suggest him as the new right back?
Can't really see Emanuel signing for us, we have two left backs and too many holes in the rest of the squad to consider him. As for left midfield if Macca is looking to strengthen there (we have Taylforth, Nix and Daly already) then he would surely be looking for a full time classy left mid, not a part timer.

Lewis is well capable of filling the left midfield role in L2. He played there for Luton at a higher level before his fall out.

I always thought he was a decent left back but never totally convincing as a midfielder. If he comes back I hope it's as left back only.

Two left backs? We have Hecks and Lukey (though he's only for the reserves imo).
Nix is best deployed in the Centre & Daley is a RM/Rw who can play on the left - again Taylforth is a reserve at best..
