Current - no-one really appeals, there is no-one who even if they are useless has any charism worthy of being a fave. I even hold Nicky Mohan up there in my list of faves, he was pretty poor but had a likeability factor.

I await the big signings we have been promised and hope we get a Mohan in amongst them! :D

Current: Nix probably (I used to be a left-footed, short-arse, lightweight midfielder too).
All-time: McCall. With honourable mentions for Hendrie, Sinnott, the moustachioed Paul Reid and Colin Hoyle and god knows how many other decent, hard-working lads with a litle talent and a lot of heart.

god - how far do yo want to go back......

from the present crop - NIL

From our soon to be announced new team members - whichever one raises the highest eyebrow.
( I still think he did not know how to express a frown so he said eye brow raising instead)

Ever the optimist jump:

It is saying a bit when 2 posts name Topp as the best player presently on the books.
In his time at the club he managed 6 starts (and was pulled off each time) plus 5 as sub.
He scored a grand total of no goals - What a star.

Best players I have seen McCall, Hendrie and Campbell. None of those could match Albert Whitehurst who scored 11 goals in two matches in March 1929 (both won 8-0) and he must take some beating .

So Willy has been "pulled off" 6 times? Is that in a week or just 1 night? :chatter:

Best player ever - King Stuart by a country mile.

Best current player - Perhaps Thorne, though i think Lee Bullock could be the vital player next season, the midfield looked totally different when he was involved.

Topp - Are you having a laugh - Totally out of his depth.

Hahahaha, we'll see we'll see.

Topp's got quality that other players don't have in the team, he's also quite hard to knock off the ball aswell, I can't wait to see more of him next season!

Does anyone know if Billy is back in the country? If he's not here yet, I don't think we'll see him in the claret and amber ever again...
