Just reading a news story on the city site saying city will search the bags of anyone getting on official coaches for alcohol now. I can only assume something has happened, anyone know? Whats next? Urine drug screens???? jawdrop:

I suppose you can't blame them.
The club would be liable for prosecution if police found alcohol on the coach.
It's also probably easier to stop alcohol being brought onto the bus than it is to stop people drinking once they are on it.
Expect lots of bottles of "Vimto" to be taken to away matches now....

I went on the coach to the gayfarm and the driver said he had found alcohol we never saw heard or smelt anyone drinking anything.I was first back on the coach after the game and again saw no-one bring any back on board

No i don't blame them i'm just wondering why now, it's been an issue for years so i was wondering if something had happened. Personally i like their approach ie: if you don't like it tough jump:
