I wouldn't get too excited just yet. IBV Iprottafelog were last in the Icelandic Premier Division 10 years ago and now seem to have dropped down at least 2 divisions. As most of the teams come from Reykjavik (including IBV) the standard is probably Bradford Sunday League. Obviously being South American the optimists on this site will expect Italo Maciel to be a World beater (in the same way as Topp has been painted) but even Brazil has its fair share of plodders (its only the top 0.0005% who are actually superstars - and that includes Edhino -who wasn't Brazilian)

This is true BWWB, i think he married a Portugese bird and got his passport through their marriage. Bit of a grey area this, e.g Kevin Pieterson as England captain from that famous English town known as South Africa. Deco is another Brazilian born Portugese player.

There are literally hundreds of Brazilians playing in Portuguese football and due to their former colonial relationship there are no immigration or working barriers between the 2 countries

I think a club in Holland called The Hague want them on trial and seem quite keen so they must be quite good. The Hague want to parade them with their other latest big name signing Radavan Karadic who they also pulled in for a "trial".
