I'm not saying I'm definitely going but I was looking at the logistics of this. The Eurostar timetable, the trains to Aldershot - there's a direct one from Waterloo at a good time, 12.23 or something - all work. Trouble is, it's all-ticket for City fans, saying "please buy your tickets from VP".
Not all of us live next door to VP.
My question is, how many on here are going to Aldershot and have not yet bought a ticket and might yet be able to add one ticket to the order, to be exchanged at some pub in the vicinity?
Alternatively, City will never sell their full allocation and there MAY be some on the day. I'm not going to book a Eurostar 195 Euro ticket plus train ticket London to Aldershot on that basis though.

ok
Trying to dissect this reply.
OK, I'm going and I'll get you a ticket?
Or, OK, you're a yoghurt-knitting, bearded sandal-wearing real-ale drinking namby-pamby Shetland-wool-sweatered middle-class toga-wearing labour-voting Nob ?

I'd hazard a guess at the latter Z :)
I'd have got you one myself but can't go now with away games at L**ds and Port Vale on the horizon! :(

B'Lox. You've said yourself here that you earn more in a day than some on here do in a year. Money isn't the real reason, is it.

The Aldershot site doesn't suggest that Saturday's game is all ticket. They played a local derby against Bournemouth for their first home game and they took just over 1000 fans. We didn't take that many to Macclesfield so you won't have any trouble getting in. City just want their commission so suggesting it is all ticket is purely a legitimate money raising ploy.

The Aldershot site does indeed say that it's NOT all ticket for Aldershot fans. But the City ticket section says it IS for BCFC fans.
But I don't want to turn up from so far away and have to risk being turned away or go in the Aldershot end.
Again, I just wondered if somebody had not yet picked up tickets from VP could pick up just one more.

I picked my ticket up at last Saturday's home match, so I can't help you there.
I'm sure I read somewhere that it's all ticket for us because there's only a couple of turnstiles for away fans, so it's all ticket, for us, to speed up entry. It might be worth emailing or ringing Aldershot to see if you can purchase an away ticket from them on Saturday.

Cheers Chris. I might try later if I get no help.
Or I might just not go.

You might get more joy on the OMB, seems to be more visitors on there than here per day.

I've visited the OMB recently but don't know anybody on there. OK, it's not a worry to pick up a ticket from a chavvy type but it's better to get yr ticket from someone you know.

Thanks. Before they lifted the restrictions, which were daft anyway because their side was NOT all ticket, I asked Stu from Shipley Bantams to bring me a ticket on the Shippers bus.
