Second teams

In the early 90s my partner as a shipbuilder was contracted to work down at Cammell Laird in Birkenhead for a year and we went down to stay not always getting home for the football.
I couldnt bring myself to go watch Trannmere so adopted Cammell Laird FC as my second team & still follow them now making a few games each year.
(Helps loads this season that theyve got BPA & Guiesley in their league but sadly Ive a feeling they could drop straight back down :()
Anyhow I was just wandering does anyone else have a "second team" or have a certain club where they always watch out for the scores?

Raith Rovers. Bumped into the team as a kid at a motorway service station, got their autographs etc and it was the highlight of a wet week touring Scotland.

KV Oostende in Belgium. Spent a fair bit of time over there and got to know a lot of fans. Managed to get to a few games too.

i ahve teams i look out for the results like spurs and wendies as my mates support them!

qos in jockland cos my family are from dumfries.

CFR Cluj cos they rule tbh!:D

Same here, I wouldn't say i have a "2nd team" as such but i do have soft spots for Everton and Rangers for no logical reason:confused:

i've lived near brighton now for nearly 13 years and will never support them !

My brothers a weds fan and thats always made me hate them, till Brian Laws took over and JJ went and then I went to 2 of their games. I have to admit that I have a little thing for Mr. Laws. love:
When he came to Bradford with Scunthorpe in the JPT I asked him if he could come manage us and he replied "IM sorry love, I cant!" the following week he went onto Weds.

The first proper holiday I ever went on as a kid was to Berwick upon tweed.

I made friends with a local lad called Archie. He and his grandad used to go out into the harbour in a little rowing boat each evening to catch Crabs. The boat was not sea worthy and if they stayed out longer than half an hour, it would sink. I remember balmy summers evenings sitting on the quayside as the sun was setting on the horizon, listening to Archie's grandad screaming "Bail ya fecker, bail" at dear old Archie.
