Rhys Evans,

Been nothing short of excellent in his all around game, with regards to cross taking, distribution etc.

Sadly let down by the men in front of him, as a keeper myself, it must be so frustrating to have a chance to make no saves at all but concede goals where the strikers are 5/6 yards out / through 1 on 1.

In addition, Wethers doesnt look so bad and slow now does he?

Rhys is impressive, always comes up trumps when needed, made a really decent save in the first half!

His passion is awesome as well, when we scored vs luton he celebrated more than anyone!!

He was a good keeper right up there with Ian Bowling and Eric Nixon with Zabica thrown in

It sounds like the gys infront of him are letting him down

Other teams are find ways to stop our wingers

And other teams forads have found ways to beat our ac e defenders

Or is it just the players are nor performing?

What league does he play in ?

Surely a super international keeper would be playing in a European or decent south American league :rolleyes:

I hope they do make it to the WC then folk will realise what crap we had to put up with tup:tup:tup:

Evans doesnt fill me with confidence, the only thing hes really good at is catching IMO but even yesterday he was fluttering. His positioning leaves a lot to be desired and someone remarked he cant dive to his left (more like his right)

But Stus picked him so why blame the player.

Evans is a steady keeper. However I reckon that The Don and Hendo both had much higher saves to conceded ratios.

maybe a 3-5-2 would suit us better?
Evans has done little wrong in my eyes - it;s our defending as a team that is the problem, that and Colbecks reluctance to position himself as an out and out winger - when we have the ball where is he likely to be found?...aye yep drifted inside and limiting options - watch Daley Joe and get a better idea of what to do and where to be.

Its strange how us fans can watch a match and all come up with different views!

The we expect the management to suit us all and put it right

And i don't know wether you have noticed but joe created and scores the majority of all the goals we score.
