or half empty??

Whatever your thoughts on our performances so far this season, a win tonight will see us (albeit for a short time only) joint top.

My question is:

Are we reasonably happy with this and looking forward to us pushing on from here??

or:

Are we dissapointed that we are not in a far stronger position??

Without appearing to "sit on the fence", for me it's a bit of both.

Yes, of course we have dropped points, (Saturday) but have also shown fighting spirit to pick up points when they looked lost. So all things considered I will go with the first option.

Half full for me -- we have some good players -- just need to get back into the groove

Same for me. I'm pleased with where we are, I just feel with a bit more application we could be 6-7 points better off...

I think we've all got to be happy with where we sit in the league. The pain of the last 8 or so years is keeping most (me included) from getting carried away.

Thats whats annoying me.

After 8 years or so of relegation battles, relegation and mid table obscurity, most fans can't seem to enjoy or embrace the fact were now a decent side with genuine promotion ambitions.

Instead they prefer to scrutinise every single decision our manager makes and lambast players for any minor error.

It's about time City fans learned to enjoy watching THEIR team again.
