Don't know if any of you saw but he passed away today.

Gave Gretna a fairtytale rise to the very top of Scottish Football. Seemed like a good bloke.

Remember seeing him on Sky's "Football's hardest away days" and he seemed a nice Richard Branson type of businessman!

Shame he's dead now thiugh. :(

Some of the reports about him withdrawing support for Gretna are off the mark - because of his illness his financial empire was then run by whoever had enduring power of attorney i would have thought, and it seems that Gretna were not on the agenda - mayeb it was not written in - strange really - but he was a true one off who lived the dream and recognised the worth of the supporters, even laying on transport to away games - RIP.
