Just looking at the table, this year is shaping up to be the most open for years apart from the top 4 & the real chance of a 'so called big club' going down.

Who gets your vote for the drop this year?

I reckon West Brom, Wigan & Newcastle

I can see West Ham, Portsmouth and Blackburn struggling plus the usual lot of Middlesborough, Wigan etc. Hull are only eight points above it and they've been on the run of the century

Very tough to say but at this point in time i think:

West Bromich Albion
Bolton Wanderers
Sunderand

The table after 12 games is so tight, a win for Sunderland would take them from 19th to 10th for fecks sake! jawdrop:

There seems to have been alot more shock results so far this year, another today with Boro beating Villa away from home, barring the top 4 it looks like anyone can beat anyone at the moment (which is a gamblers nightmare).

I have to say I still think Hull will be down there, they've had their "incredible run" now and I think they'll find it very difficult to get points from now on! As for the others, I don't think West Brom will be able to pick up enough points and will go down. The other spot will be between Boro and Sunderland imo, with Boro going down.

I'll go with Hull, West Brom and Boro!

Middlesbrough?

Cant see it, any team that beats Villa away is surely too good to go down?

Seems like the new owners at Man City are getting an itchy trigger finger if todays press is anything to go by. Hughes might be on borrowed time.

I hope Boro and Wigan don't go down as Boro have agreat youthful team and Wigan are too good IMO.

I reckon Bolton (unfortnately), Stoke and West Brom

Wigan are a decent side, Fulham are also a good team, AJ now scoring as well

Hull will be ok IMO play decent footie and look good attackingtup:

Dont care as long as Newcastle go down. A **** team that make up the numbers, and a bunch of arrogant supporters (?) who think they have a right to be in the top 4 by default.

Would be nice to see all the promoted sides stay up.

Newcastle Chairman: "my word groundsman, the pitch is looking rather good"

Groundsman: "should do sir... we put 70 million pounds of **** on it every other Saturday"

I think Hull might survive & I'm starting to think Stokes home record might just save them.

That would be excellent for the Championship and make it much stronger. The more promoted teams that stay in the Prem the better for the game as a whole IMO.

It got tedious when all the promoted teams would get relegated the season after - as used to happen a lot previously.

tup:tup:agree totally

I personally don't think the Premier League Hierachy want teams like Wigan , Stoke & Hull in there and if they could get away with a no relegation system, they would just keeping the 16 clubs with the 'biggest 'money making' potential in there.

Not sure, i think in some ways they'd prefer teams like Hull/Stoke who are filling their stadiums week in week out and taking large away followings (where were you when you were sh:poo:t?) rather than teams like Blackburn/Bolton/Wigan who struggle
