Look at the Arsenal side in this report! Then look at Wigans, about full strength apart from Heskey.

How can Sky claim its the strongest league in the world when Arsenal Youths can hammer a reasonably established Premier League side.

Outside the top 4 no one else has a chance unlike in Spain where teams like Villarreal, Seville, Valencia, Atletico & Deportivo can all give Real & Barca a run for their money. Its a lot more competitive and shows the Prem up for the hype-driven sham that it is.

I'm not a great fan of the prem, more so because of the number of foreigners than anything, but I see your point.
On the other hand is this case more indicative of the of players Wenger has playing for his 'first' team.. I mean they are not setting the world alight but on two occasions his youngsters have shown themselves to be more capable?

Right KK, & for all his critics, there is a lot of young English talent in that side which bodes well for the future at international level.
