No chance tdwn:

Should be a tenner max or there'll just be 4000 there if they're lucky...

Orient obviously think we'll have 13,000 there at full price but they're obviously a tad delusional

What a set of money grabbing coonts ot's just a shame we need the money because a gate of 2k would have made me very happy

That's what it will be anyway Gary, it will not be a tenner a ticket, whether they say it or not City have a history of charging over the odds for cup games and then quoting rules and regulations of the FA to support their move.

I doubt even a tenner a ticket would draw in more than 5000. Half empty!

If its more than £10 im not going get ripped off enough going to every away game never mind a meaningless cup game.

You and whole lot more, what was the crowd for the Crewe game the other year. City seem to be trying but Orient are wanting more

Most years it goes down to £15 and a £5, is it this that Orient are moaning about as we're not charging full whack at £20 or are we wanting everyone a fiver in....

In fairness if another club slashed prices the only time the receipts were shared we might have something to say...

Rough figures....

2500 adults @ £20 = £50,000

6000 adults @ £10 = £60,000

It's not a meaningless game though - I think the FA prize money for 2nd round winners is £35k alone regardless of gate receipts -

I remember the awful Tranmere game last year, stung us a bit at VP then and we got hammered, don't really want to be paying more than £20 for me and jnr otherwise Herr indoors will get the hump on!

That meaningless game could be the gateway to hundreds of thousands of pounds :rolleyes::rolleyes:we can hardly turn our noses up at it

cant they add in for next season as a added extra incentive to buy a season ticket. get that agreed with the FA before a ball has been kicked in the FA cup then 'they' cant moan at the lower ticket price revenue

If the prices are £20 I'll be giving it a miss! tdwn:

I'm happy to pay £15 but anything more than that for a cup game against a team like Orient is ridiiculous!

That was what i was gettting at, just because we wanted the prices cheaper doesnt mean we were planning to let everyone in for £2.50...

I think it will be a poor turn out, home and away

I rather us concentrate on our failing League asspirations though mate.

On Football Manager I whacked my reserve team out and still won so am hoping City do the same.

And how many years have we been aying that fook the cup and concentrate on the league and where as that got us :rolleyes:The potential for this club to clear a hell of a lot of money from these games is unmissable tup:tup:Still what's betting your attitude would change if we beat Orient and drew Man U at OT :rolleyes::rolleyes:

Were joint 3rd with 2/3 of the season to go, hardly failing.

We aren't 10 points clear so clearly we're failing.

I think apart from the Barnet game and considering the injuries, since the Darlo game we've been playing some of the best stuff of the season. :ban:

I love it how you go to Milton Keynes for the 1st round and really enjoy it and then call it a 'meaningless cup game' for the next round which is at home...

Just an observation mind:D
