I don't know what he's getting paid so don't know if freeing up the money would get us anything better.
I'd personally keep him as super-sub to see this campaign out.

Exactly as above -- it does depends on his wages

I'd get rid. If our aspirations are to go up then we need better then him to help us get there.

All depends on whether Stu has anyone lined up to replace him mind...

I would expect Topp to go also so do we need 2 strikers?

I would imagine so, I'm still puzzled at the reluctance to play Topp

I would keep the big, clumbsy, piece of wood as another option on the bench as a "super sub"..LOL as the Taliban & Argus quote.
Certainley can't blame the bloke for asking.tup:

I'm not bothered what we do with Barry, tbh he's probably done enough to get another 6 months but i wouldnt be arsed if we released him.

We definately need at least one more striker in though if McCall isnt going to use Jnr Boulding or Topp, we simply have not got the options up front or a settled pairing that play well together.

I would retain him for the rest of the season. He is not my first choice for a starting berth by any means but he has proved to be very useful coming on as a sub at both ends of the pitch

The one player we should definitely be offloading is Topp, a complete waste of time and money

I think a lot of City fans need a reality check as far as Baz is concerned.

He's your average Division 4 target man, some days he will be effective, other days he will be shite.

Im sure most of the divisions target men are as inconsistent as Bazza, we usually only see the opponents target men once or twice a season....I bet Barnet will think Baz was awesome during the first half at VP!

If players in the 4th division were as good as some City fans think they should be then they wouldn't be playing for us for long....Even Prem target men like Heskey & Crouch have games where they are totally ineffective and they are in a different stratosphere to Bazza!

If he goes then theres no gaurantee we will replace him with anything better that we as a club can afford....better the Devil you know;)

Honest assessment there, and very accurate. Still think we need another striker though;)

super sub Bazza should stay and be used from the bench unless Thorne is unavailable.

I've seen just about every reserve game and 1st team appearance & i rate the guy .Due to various circumstances though he hasn't had a look in.

I don't think Macca wants him and can't work out how to use him so i think he will go to free up wages

I don't think he likes foreigners.

Re Barry, as long as he isn't screwing us for wages I don't see why we can't keep him on. I don't rate him as good enough for what we ought to be looking at but we haven't got the resources to be replacing half the squad in january.

I don't think he likes foreigners.

He cant get enough of Omar or Furman....or Big Baz if we're counting Ireland as foreign

I'd keep him as a sub and for another option, if we play him properly then hes an asset...

Topp is also another option and should be given a chane, possibly against the Orient

If he is released, whoever spent 35k on him, and whoever gave him a medical needs to look at themselves but no doubt his home sickness will be used as an excuse

I think he's earned a new contract- his 6 goals speak to that. But it's more a question of ambition for the club- a six month contract for me to last until the end of the season. I don't think he could make the step up to league 1 so our ambitions dictate not longer than that. Having said that he is indeed playing far above last year's stuff and all expectation, so is deserving of at least some form of contract- even a month-to-month if need be.
