A disappointing 1st half hour and City’s defense all at sea, Saw Chesterfield take an early 1 0 lead, things then got worse for city with a clangor by Matt Clarke, saw Chesterfield, take a deserved 2 0 lead, However at this point along with McCall’s comments I too felt, that we would create chances and would equalize by half time. If we do not go up this season then it will be down to the defense, we do not have any problems getting goals none at all and we look fantastic. But we have to sort the defense out. However still no needs for slating of the team, it never helps matters.. City showed such great desire and character, to come back from 2 ,0 down. It was like switching a light on city just clicked in to gear. All in all to come back like that city deserved to be drawing at half time.

After he break city were the superior team and although chesterfield, had there chances city’s defense was improved. City looked the more likely to get a winner. So when city got a blatant penalty justice was done as city deserved this win, despite a poor start. City were up against 2 gems of players Jack Lester and Darren Currie. Michael Boulding had his best game so far in a city shirt and made Robert Page look all at ends. Barry Conlon worked his socks off and deserved the man of the match award.

Peter Thorne must have felt robbed as his goal was disallowed, after the ref claimed Conlon was off side. Well my foot if that was offside then. Leeds United will win Europe not. So after been confident we would win even after going 2 0 down All are just happy with the result which is a good one in it’s self. Both teams were excellent and the game had everything, you name it had it. So credit to both teams there could have been more goals in this one too. However Bradford at the end deserved the 3 points.
