Its a massive blow for us as he is the key to our win against Orient on Saturday - but im sure we'll pull through!!tup:
Having said that, McCall will now up his search for a loanee and one should be in by close of play tomorrow....who will it be?
On the other hand it must surely force Topp closer to the 16 man squad, and i for one hope that if he gets his chance he takes it with both hands!jump:

The way Derm was talking last night, I don't think you'll see Topp in a city shirt again - I think he's on his way.

He will surely offer Seb Carole a deal, he's supposedly a fast tricky winger and a direct replacement for Omar

Could be a blessing. Rest him up and he will be ready for the rest of the season, it will make us play differently now too.

Ssshhh;)
The Omar squad will spark up the rumour mill suggesting he's injured himself so he can have a long Crimbo break - Deano styleeeeee!!

Hope Stu doesnt get Toddish and push Obrien up to left mid and give Hecky the LB slot. This is what ruined Lewis Emmanuels career at city.

Carole would be a good shout IMO but wages may be a stumbling block.
Surely Topp has enough pace and skill to be productive on the wing?
Whatever the choice is, it should only be short term as we should have Colbeck and Brandon available for the run in.

Why the **** would you play Topp on the left wing?
He can't get a game in his natural position:rolleyes:

Is Carole still training with the club?
Surely Stuart would have offered him a short term deal if he was rather than going out and searching for another loanee.

I would hope that Stuart plays the diamond formation while Omar's out, with Topp behind the two strikers. That's his best position, and it's the best option for the team when we have no wingers.

I seem to remember we managed ok when he was out earlier this season getting 4 points from 2 games scoring 5 against Accy Stanley and Gills...
Hopefully this will take himout the shop window that Mark Lawn has put him in:D
