When you open them, they still stay 'live' i.e they still look as if you haven't opened them. Another little glitch in the system Ed, when you have enough time. It must be taking a lot of your time sorting some of these things out.

It's been reported to VBulletin by numerous people, They say when version 3.5.0 is released that bug will be sorted - We are running version 3.0.7 and 3.5.0 is the next version.

In the mean time click in the tick box next to the message and use the drop box at the bottom of the page to 'mark as read' this should do for the timebeing.
