Let's just say there were as many stayed till the end yesterday as they probably will be at the start of games next season if this shower is allowed to continue managing our club.

3,000 then ? - It was a sight to see hundreds streaming out when that 4th goal hit the back of the net , all we could do was try and laugh about how crap the team were .

Lets put it this way, if i'd have shouted 'F*ck of Toad' at the top of my voice Todd would have had no trouble hearing it from the dugout and im sat by the Midland Road in the Kop.

Yes, dude, I was still there even till after the players had left the pitch, sick to the stomach, dejected, exhausted after such a tiring spectacle, yet somehow convinced that it's been worse than this in my time. And for the record I didn't arrive until just after they got their second - perhaps I should have ditched the attempts to find a parking space and just gone back home to watch the rugby and enjoy a nice cool lager!
For the record I applauded Wethers and Cadamarteri (for effort) - I would have applauded Ricketts and Stewart as well but they seemed to have done a runner, no doubt embarassed by the incompetence of their manager and some of their team-mates. I will always applaud Wethers - absolute star he is, only one trying until Cadders came on and at least put some effort in (alright he aint scoring but at least he looks like he gives a toss).
I was not joining in the Todd Out chants from the back of the upper tier Kop, as I don't believe that benefits the players on the park who are trying against all the odds. There are ways and means of getting a message across and if the home crowd are negative then it will have an impact on the team on the pitch. But based on the atitude of the team on Saturday I don't blame anyone for voicing their concerns and I'm sure the professionals among our players would understand the reasons why. His after-match interview was depressing and just added insult to injury - show some humility man and admit you are finding it hard. He was asked about Penford and dodged round the question like a slippy, slidy, dodgy thing! He did say he had said a few weeks back to Tim Thornton that he would be looking to the "experienced lads" (that phrase again!) - well, they have kept us in the mire haven't they Todd, what's Plan B?

I agree about wethers but cada does nothing for the team. Yes, he looks busy but everything is done 40 yards from goal when he had been brought on for claridge which left wilbraham on his own up front Cada never goes in where it hurts in the box

Fair enough, but who else was that busy? MBW for me is flattering to deceive - he does not give any penetrating passes, he doesn't pass to Cadamarteri (even when he's in space), Schuey isn't getting in where it hurts either - in my eyes Cadders decided if the midfield aren't going to do their job properly I'll have to come back and get the ball - and then he at least had the balls to have a run at people, more than can be said for Muirhead, MBW, Schuey, Morrison, and Emanuel, who made up our attacking midfield between them!
Windass doesn't get slated for dropping deep to pick the ball up when we aren't getting any service from the midfielders. But then again he's scored a few hasn't he! Cadders is criticised because he hasn't scored. And he aint exactly a target man, for me if he's playing up front you play him more like Blake or Beardsley - in the hole just behind the target man.
Agree to disagree?

Bridgey had a decent game on saturday and was obviously frustrated at todd as well, just wasnt going for him as his free kicks showed, on another day he may well have had a couple of goals, but it just didnt work for him, i wouldnt pass to cadders, he is a bit crap TBH, wilbs had a good game.
Schumacher does just go through the motions and doesnt seem to be hitting the same form as he did last season.

MBW has'nt had the same impact on games since his layoff but he still is the only creative midfielder we've got
