Liam Bartle is a 15 year old lad from Hanson School who has just been taken on as an apprentice at City, i presume Exton is also a new apprentice

good old hanson - keep churning out the schoolboys! None of them make it though! City want to be careful or the sixth form manager will be playing these lads in school games!

Aye - Craig Midgeley (us, Hartlepool and Halifax), Martin Pemberton (Doncaster) and Carl Serrant (Newcastle) were all in the year below me at Hanson......a couple of years older than me was Liam Robinson who went on to score shitloads for Bury at the time.....Our year was shite, but apart from that its always seem to be a bit of a hotbed for pro footballers!!....

Liam Robinson was a quality marksman at his this level, sort of Ian Rush of the lower leagues:rolleyes: ...I remember him being linked with us a few times & he scored a hat-trick against the TBs once in a 6-0 drubbing of the pups at L**ds Road while playing for Buryjump: , something that instantly endeared him to melove: :D

yup lewis was in the year below me @ hanson, Andy Lee was in my year, both played in 6th form team with me. Sadly I wasn't good enough to even be considered,
Team was good though we reached semi's of west yorkshire cup twice and our A team played our B team in the final of the Bradford District Cup.
It's a bit of a hotbed for talent. Think most of the boys like Joe brown etc are at Hanson now, although I'm not sure.

Martin Pemb and Carl Serrant were in my dad's "best ever" bradford boys team. I think Des "Dirk" Hamilton was in that team too. He still can't believe how they didn't bring home the big cup in their final year together. Fookin Howard Wilkinson has killed the schools football ass...but thats another topic.
