"Double Big Mac or a broken Metarsal
One BfB reader was queuing in MacDonalds last week when he noticed that the guy in front of him was none other than Bantam forward Danny Cadamarteri and before our guy could say "What is a professional footballer doing in the queue at a restaurant that is this unhealthy" Danny got himself two Big Macs and left to scoff them"

FAT *******

So chuffin what, Frank Lampard was caught buying a donner kebab .... wheres the remarks about him?

What the player eats in his own time is his business and how you can call anyone fat for eating 2 burgers at McDonalds is laughable. Have you seen the size of them? a big mac fits in the palm of my bloody hand and i need at least 3 just to feel a tinsy bit full.

Danny isn't unfit he just can't hit a barn ****ing door.

He is way over weight ed! If he keeps eating burgers like that then he will definitely become unfit! he is a proffesional sports player, and word has it he does this frequently!

Adie, I'll give you he was overweight at start of season but he isn't now, it's his build, he is no longer the slight 17-year-old that did so well at Everton. His fitness isn't in doubt for me, just his finishing and a lot of that is to do with confidence. He at least puts in the effort.

The guy gets too rough a ride for me.

i agree, but i still think he can lose some more!

Also i think he is frustrating, no finished product

I think that's because the gaffer hasn't exactly put his confidence in him. Look at the strikers we've had this season and see what they have consistently lacked - confidence and backing from the Manager. Windass is so full of his own (misguided at times!) self-belief that he doesn't need any backing, he'll just go out and do it and then bathe in his own glory. The others could have done with a bit of backing here and there.

Todd should be telling DC that if he wants it the second striker position is his, just get your head on, get fit(ter) and make sure you start next season with a flyer.

He's one of them rare breed of folk who's big but can run extremely quick - Lesley Vainakolo at the bulls is officially a "freak of nature" - apparently top scientists say it is physically impossible for an 18 stone monster like him to run as fast as he does - yet he does....
His fitness levels seem good, as does his pace - but he is carrying some excess weight no doubt about it, if he were at a top club in the top flight he would definately be made to shift some weight, whilst he may have a big build are you honestly telling me he's not carrying lard?....he may have muscular thighs and a large chest, but are you telling me that his stomach is a toned six pack?....pmsl....

Sorry, not a fan at all, can't deny the effort he puts in but for me he doesn't offer enough in the right areas to justify his selection

I think todds shown too much confidence in him personally to the detriment of other strikers Cookes goalscoring record was better than Dannys but Todd slated it in the press whilst giving Danny chance after chance. BTW, not a huge Cooke fan either but he was more effective alongside Deano

See your point. But I think there has been no consistency of selection and that includes DC. In one week out the next, too many times having to play makeshift winger.

I was a big Cooke fan as well and we should have kept him at the time he went out on loan, but still think DC has something to offer.

More pertinently the inconsistency of choice for the wings has probably led to our strikers doing nowt (how many of Deano's goals came from set-pieces?). The service they have had has been poor and that is down to there being a different midfield every week for whatever reason, injuries, personal choices etc.

Oh and kb, I agree re 6-pack comment but I wouldn't call him fat, which ios what Adie's insinuating.

He's got the wrong type of players playing round him, namely Deano, who also likes to come deep and try and create stuff, just like Cadders. I think DC would be better off running onto balls being held up by the likes of Deano, because he's useless at doing it himself.

The midfield doesn't do him any favours either, MBW has been useless for the best part of this year (compared to what he's normally like) and thus most of the time Danny's left holding the ball up himself from long punts upfield by the defence or Bentham, with noone in front of him (Deano being an old slow bassa, he's still on the HW line) so he's got to turn and run at defences which usually ends up in bugger all, or turn back and make a negative pass.

Seems to me that he doesn't have a set role in the team when he plays (when I'm watching Cadders it always seems to me that Todd has said 'Go and do your thing Danny' rather than actually giving him an actual battle plan) so he keeps making the same mistakes as well.

And his confidence must be shocking at the moment.

That all suggests I'd be willing to give him another chance, which I would if Todd went, we got a manager who knew how to work the front line, and MBW recovered some of his form last season. But chances are that those three won't be happening for awhile, so is it really worth keeping Cadders?

I'm sorry but if cadders is a professional athlete (thats what he is after all), he should know better than to eat junk food, even if its only once in a while. Especially as he himself admitted last year he was overweight when he joined.

Even out of training hours, they still have to look after their bodies properly. If we don't advise the players properly on diet regimes, surely he should have been taught that elsewhere?

It's not what you eat totally its how you eat...

A burger here and there does nothing to you if you are in a position to burn it off again..

Its only when you dont fizz that the lardy arsed monster comes along...]

If he is on a proper diet then he knows what and how much he can and cannot eat each day...

Fact is i would be more than happy to be his size and shape ..Fat fpmsfl...

He is fast as fook runs the whole game and is in trim for his size... fat hahahahhahahahahahahhahahahahaha ...
