View Full Version : Bantams bar - world cup games?....

Normally go to the George for important England games, but was thinking of doing the BB for em this summer - the club are hiring a feck off screen, they're providing food and will even arrange taxi's for folk, i shouldn't imagine it'd be busy either so unlike the George it should be easy enough to get to the bar and have a pish....and unlike the usual England crowd (full of birds who like Lampards legs and other feckwits who know feck all) at least your watching it with proper fans!!....
Should be a good atmosphere if the regulars turn up - **** if they don't....lol - who's considering it?

Good old Mata Hari....never lets the side down.tup:
I may be pursuaded to slum it in the BB once again I suppose.
I still have some of those flashing Englands caps so everyone could wear one of those.

I've seen them selling those WWII German Army helmets on Ebay, I think they will be quite a good seller for the world cup. How many flashing england caps did you manage to sell in the end?

I've already arranged what I'm doing and where I'm watching the games etc. If I hadn't you wouldn't catch me within a million miles of the Bantams Bar lining the pockets of Junior and Brown and the gang. Don't you get pissed off by bankrolling em for no thanks over the football season without doing it in the summer too??

Prediction;

20 people max turn up for the Paraguay game, then scrapped for the remaining fixtures.

My prediction wouldn't be far off from that either.

I'll be going to various pubs for some of the games and probably organising a BBQ and a load of mates over for others.

One thing is for certain I won't be sat watching it on my Todd and I won't be in the Bantams Bar either.

Hmmmm...yes Twat for once I agree with you old boy. Taking Dave's comments on board too on reflection I think I'd rather shag Darren Slingsby's blood orange than watch any football in the Bantams Bar.

I have just put the remaining England caps on ebay as it happens. I forgot they were in the Summerhouse and not on ebay....Sunwinman bought one yesterday when he called at my house.
Not sure if thats a good endorsement or not though!!

lol....get yersen fecked....:D
Nowt to do with a pass out - the walkabout don't appeal to me, i take my "England in a major tournament" games seriously and want to actually see some action - instead of stood for 45 minutes trying to get a drink, surrounded by feckwits dolled up in England gear - not even being able to name the team past Beckham and Owen....tup:

Mock all you want matey, i'll be texting you pictures of every pint that passes my lips the next two Fridays....;) :p

heh heh - not a chance.....;)

England in the bantams bar and then hit town afterwards sounds like a plan to me.....;)

In all seriousness though, one of the appeals of the BB is because it will probably be quiet - i've had games spoilt in the past because i can't even go for a fekkin pish or get a pint.....
