Last season was all mass expectations and i for one thought we would piss on this league before and after the Hartlepool game. But by the end of the month i was calling for Todd to be sacked.:(
Lets just see if we all have the same expectations with the Turd still in charge.tup:

You also thought Bristol City would finish above Forrest but were proved to be wrong.

I'm going to reserve my judgement till I see what squad we have for next season.

Thought the season wasn't going to start cos' we were going bust :D

I'll say play-offs at a push.

Same as last season and the season before, with Todd or without Todd. Comfortable mid table is the sum of our owners' ambitions.

All about the youth now, we'll either blow everyone away with our fantastic youth or do an MK Dons. Let's hope we blow em away eh

Dave, he's got loftier ambitions than that - he thinks we should be a top ten team, in the Prem that is, wasn't he quoted by the T&A?

It's not the ambitions that matter it's the application and effectiveness!tup:

I'll wait to see what kind of squad we start the season with before I start making predictions.

If Julian Rhodes lived to be a hundred and fifty and never left the VP hotseat he'll never get us above the level we are now. That's just a sorrowful fact of life.

I think the end of the season form is a good sign that we'll improve for next season, let's hope it wasn't 'need a new contract' form

You mean just like last season? ...If thats the case then it puts paid to the bullsh/t excuse some on here have that our players aren't good enough, they are good enough when they can be arsed:(, which IMO shows how little influence & motivational skills the Turd possestdwn: ...playing the youngsters (3 months too late:mad: ) also helped introduce pride, passion & enthusiasm into our side which was severely lacking before Christmas;)

The youth thing is good, i would do that even if they were crap, say to the pros, watch out young uns are after your place....

Yeh but didn't MK Dons get relegated on that policy?

Although optimisistic about next season I'm nowhere near as convinced that we'll get into the play-offs as I was last season!!

The finish has all been fine, but the lack of goal-scorers other than Deano is something that needs to be rectified first!

In Colbeck and B-W we now have 2 players capable of creating chances on a regular basis (not just once a season like Muirhead!) but we need people to finish those chances off.

I appreciate Todd not wanting to burden the youngsters with getting us into the play-offs, but Cooke, Cadders and Claridge all failed to help Windass during his bad spell, so why not try Symes or Brown before wasting a wage on another 3 goal a season striker?!

I think we'll finish 8th!!

Lets see who comes in the door first..The right ones have gone..

This poll mean nowt until we have the new squad list...

I am amazed though that more on here from the doom and gloomers havent voted relegation....

My hopes for next season would be to get into the play-offs but untill I see what squad we have assembled I'm not going to go out on a limb and predict where we will finish.

Hopefully if this season has taught Todd anything it's that the future is in the youth who will try, rather than journey men who put no effort in picking up a wage.
