remembered all the time. Thoughts are also with those who suffered and still suffer from losing loved ones and from the sheer horror of the event.

When you see the families that died together, and the ages of the kids, it is just to much to bear, goodness knows what the immediate families feel like today.

It was a good turnout again today at the memorial, very dignified as always and moving!!
Have to give a mention to Stuart McCall, humbly stood at the back on his own, well away from the camera's and microphones - in fact i only noticed him because i had to shoot off early!!....

KB's right, Jim Brown put the flowers down from the club today as if he didn't give a toss, he had to go because someone from the club had to go. Today I felt sick of the club because as years have gone past, the club want to FoRget about it. WELL IT WILL NEVER HAPPEN

I think this is the wrong place to make accusations like that ....
I couldnt imagine anyone associated with the club taking today for granted...
RIP to all those 56...We will remember them..

tony d, arguably the Club forgot in 2001 (I think), it's in Four Minutes to Hell. Some comment was mooted that it was time to move on. Not in my opinion. We should never forget and neither should the powers that be at BD8!

The fans and general public wouldn't stand for it

I will always remember 56 people who died. They turned up for a celebration match and never returned to their home and loved ones. For those people who were bereaved on that fatalful day, my thoughts are with them.

Tonyd's right - this thread aint the place, but i have to say i was very dissapointed that everyone from the club was there - apart from the entire first team, Colin Todd and worst of all - no Julian Rhodes or Peter Ethrington....tdwn:

It is a time for those WANTING to attend to remember those who past....
We all remember in our own way... For some it has no meaning...For some they remember their own way in their own time..
No one should be forced to attend no matter what their stature at the club...
As long as we never forget and people are allowed to grieve in their own way then thats fine by me....
I doubt everyone who was there on that day attended for their own personnal reasons.... Lets not point fingers because others feel different to those who chose to attend....

Nobody should be forced to attend. I never go for one. However. If I were co-owner of the club, I'd ensure that I attend in a professional capacity if not a personal one.
I see Lincoln City sent their usual dignified contingent. I hope we are all behind them in the League 2 Play Offs again this season!
