Anybody read his comments in the T&A last night . His attitude was everything that fans want to hear from players and a welcome change from the cynical couldn't care less attitudes of some of todays big stars
Good Luck to the Lad, he deserves ittup: tup: tup: tup:

Absolutely right. The attidude of Tom and the other youngsters puts the rest to shame. Hopefully by getting rid of the bad apples (Morrison, Petta, Claridge and Cadders) will enable the attitude of the youngsters and the hard workers (Ricketts, Wethers, Bower, Emanuel) to rub off on the rest of the team so we can see more consistency and hard work from the likes of Muirhead, Schumacher and the others.

I think the youngsters just have natural enthusiasm and a desire to progress - it does exist in some of the older ones, I don't think we can question Wethers' motivation and will to win. A mix of the 2 will help and priority in my eyes is get rid of the hangers-on, which Todd seems to be doing. Notwithstanding his bizarre decisions and his attitude towards the fans this season he is at least making an effort to try clear the decks and move in the right direction next year.

I didn't mean Wethers, i was thinking about some of the top Prem League stars who seem to think they are untouchable

why was claridge a bad apple?
Too many outside commitments for a player who didnt even train with the lads...
Not much of a role model..

He led by example on the pitch!
The amount of running around he did put Cadders, Petta and his cronies to shame.

TBH ive forgiven Todd for his attitude towards the fans last season. He signed some bad players and they have seriously let him down, 99% of the flack was directed towards him instead of the players with previous good track records that played rubbish and didnt care.
He spoke to the fans on the POY evening and he even spoke to the fans after the Gillingham game, i think thats evidence enough to suggest that he's not a shirker, Todd has a record of signing bad players....IMO he needs to utilise the internet to find out the opinions of the other teams fans before signings his targets.

Now wouldn't that be a great full time job. Being a virtual player scout, checking every teams website, message board, mailing list, etc etc etc.
Wonder if any clubs actually do that? Hardly 100% reliable but could save the proper scouts dozens of unnescessary trips.
