Todays T&A says Todd is after Aaron Wilbraham, i think he's the right sort of player to get the best out of Deano, tall, good in the air and can lead the line well

Great keeper cover (tbh, i saw more of him in goal for MKD's - than outfield for us);)

He's averagetdwn: Shouldn't we be setting our sights on better quality players than him?

Admittedly I only had the opportunity to see him at home but what are you basing your judgement on as I think you are being a little harsh.

He was only with us a short time, had different strike partners and never got chance to build a partnership with Windass. Given a preseason - we could see a much improved player and an effective partnership.
Facing our goal he could at least win most of the balls played to him in the air against defenders - something we have had missing for some time.
In my opinion I saw enough to think he could be effective for us in the style of football CT favours.

Nope, cos Julian is fishing in the shitpool again. It's more of the same next season I'm afraid

Todd will be looking at many players and will also have a back up list if all fall through...He will also be throwing smoke to hide his real targets..You know just like every other manager..

I didnt ratre this guy in the couple of games i watched him play...

Me neither, he had 1 ok game out of 3, the other 2 he was shocking and put little effort in...

No doubt we need a target man, but imo wilbraham isnt this man and a waste of a wage

I remember him scoring that trickling header on the freezing cold day we lost 4-1 to Oldham. Other than that, all I rememeber of him is that he's good at holding the ball up but his mobility is shocking!

I agree with the view that we should be setting our sites a little higher. Pace, Height and Power would be good, Emile Heskey anyone? :D

People need to also remember that most of the time he was with us, he was playing injured and also coming back from Injury.

"What was he doing at MK Dons?"

sitting on the bench, for the bottom team of the division.
surely we should be bringing in talent up to more than that......

When you've got Izzy McLeod infront of you in the pecking order .... the majority of championship clubs would love Izzy in there team ....

We have Dean Windass, though he always seems to have a lump of wood alongside him.
