i can't quite honestly believe everyone is beliving the tripe the media is feeding them!! he wasn't anything special at all! He scored 1 good goal, the other was a tap in and the other was going wide, definately an o.g

All he did apart from that was come immensly deep and pass to rio ferdinand...surely as a target man he should stay up front??

I agree; he played ok in this match, and scored a good goal, and a couple of good layoffs. However, he is just average in my view, if he improves so be it, but he just doesn't look class.

Plus as ABS states it was weak opposition; but that is fine by me, because it gives the players confidence and gets them in the right mood for the tournament.

Yeh and Gary Linekar's tap ins were ****. Michael Owen's getting people on his back after not playing or scoring. He misses chances, so what? As one TV pundit put it, 'It's best that he was there to miss the chance than not there at all'. It's only a matter of time before Owen's goals start flooding in and it was only a matter of time before Crouch replied to the boo-boys of last year at Old Trafford. He played an integral part in Lampard's goal too and was a constant nuisance in the air.

Well done I say to him, well played, an International hat-trick is an international hat-trick, no matter who you're playing. You lot who don't rate him should get behind him instead of putting him down. Not like Sven's going to listen to a bunch of Bradford City supporters or anybody else for that matter is it? I also as said before, i am more than willing to wager against two or even three of you that if Heskey signs for Wigan or Blackburn he will out score Crouch...

He scored two today thats all...He gave the ball away more today than i have seen too...Now he has scored which im happy with ..His biggest lacking as a striker is his scoring rate...

Now today he scored against Jamiaca wooppppeeee fookin dooo..

Thing is ladies if Drogba, Rooney, Nistleroy or even Heskey had come to Bradford with their Prem teams and scored six past us, and their fans had come on here gloating, you would be saying "what do you expect when a world class side takes lower teams".

If Chelsea Manure or the gooners had put in that performance against us we would be ripping them...6 golas flattered us two own goals and lots of sloppy low level defending...

Heskeys time has gone, he had everything to be a perfect centre forward but imo had the heart and bottle of a mouse. Crouch isn't perfect but so far he's been bloody effective and he's in the squad so lets get behind him ffs. Not one defender will relish playing against him just cos he looks so awkward but his touch is good for such a big guy, lay off him folks
