I said that to me old man a couple of years ago - there's no way he's got that job because he's a talented interviewer or pundit - he's fookin wierd, some folk are a bit strange or wacky in an eccentric way which is entertaining - he's just plain strange, the way he talks, the questions he asks and his knowledge for an ex pro aint exactly **** hot either!!....Give me Ian Wright any day, at least he has no airs and graces, Crooks is surely only a pundit because he's the only black ex pro thats ever been able to talk in a relatavely English accent!!!...

It's that stocatto delivery of his questions that's weird Matt. You can also see his colleagues and subjects visibly wincing with embarrasment when he's doing his bit. ****ing Rubbish he is.

Ian Wright is shite too though, that's nowt to do with positive discrimination gone wrong, it's just down to the fact he's a dickhead.

L2 - 'Why, do you think he does?'

Loyalish junior - 'Err, no.'

That just about sums it up perfectly for me. I wouldn't go as far as to say he's a bumbling idiot, but he witters on without actually saying anything. A right waste of the licence fee if ever there was one. :rolleyes:

God, I thought it was just me that detested Garth Crooks with a passion, he is deffo the token black man, and a patronising git at that, it's a toss up between him and Ian Shi......,sorry Wright, who is the biggest tosser, I reckon that Wright will be home long before the World Cup is finished.

My mate's dad loves to watch Garth Crooks! He finds it hilarious in a cringeworthy sense like "The Office". I think the players must like him though, he seems to get all the top players interviews.
